The United States has generally followed and in some cases led trends in the history of the Western Fashion. It has some unique regional clothing styles, such as Western Wear. The country is also home to the headquarters of many leading designer labels such as Ralph Lauren, Victoria Secret and Calvin Klein. Another type of clothing worn throughout the United States by many type of peoples of people is the T-shirt. Blue jeans are a consistent fashion trend among all classes, a type of ethnic clothing used for cultural events found south of the United States. Furthermore, individuals belonging to certain ethnic groups such as Some Native American tribal members and individuals of Scottish descent may wear clothing to represent their ethnic identity at certain events. The United States has many different types of designer labels. One of them is Western Wear; it is a category of men’s and women’s clothing which derives its unique style from the clothes worn in the 19^th-century American West. Western Wear can be very informal, with a t-shirt, and blue jeans forming a basic ensemble, or it may consist of tailored formal garments with western accents. Western wear generally incorporates a cowboy hat, a leather belt and cowboy boots. Ralph Lauren is an American fashion designer and business executive. Ralph Lauren Brand Corporation produces clothing, accessories, footwear, fragrances and furniture. Victoria Secret is the largest American retailer of lingerie and it was founded by Raymond in 1977. The company sells lingerie, womenswear and beauty products. Calvin Klein is an upscale fashion house and it was founded by American fashion designer Calving Klein. His first collection was a line of “youthful, understated coats and dresses” featured at the New York City store, Bonwit Teller. Michael Kors is a fashion designer based in New York City. The Michael line includes women’s handbags and shoes as well as women’s ready-to-wear apparel. The Kors line contains footwear and jeans. Kors also designed many outfits for actresses to wear on screen. Anna Sui is an American fashion designer. Her worldwide luxury fashion brand includes clothing, shoes, cosmetics, eye-wear and accessories, as well as her renowned line of signature fragrances.
